2023 Zurich Diamond League: Noah Lyles Continues Undefeated Season, Richardson Dominates 100m!

The 2023 Zurich Diamond League is the first major world class athletics circuit competition following the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest, Hungary. World silver medalist Kyron McMaster bested Karsten Warholm over the final straightaway to take victory in the men's 400m hurdles. Co-World Champion Nina Kennedy managed to overtake Katie Moon in their rematch in the women's pole vault. World Champion Yulimar Rojas added another victory to her belt in the women's triple jump. World Champion Sha'Carri Richardson bested a very impressive field in the women's 100m. World Champion Winfred Mutile Yavi defeated her rivals Beatrice Chepkoech and Faith Cherotich again in the women's 3000m steeplechase. Yared Nuguse eaked out a narrow victory over world champion Josh Kerr in the men's 1500m. Olympic 1500m silver medalist Laura Muir posted an impressive victory in the women's 800m. Shericka Jackson dominated the field in the women's 200m. Yomif Kejelcha obliterated his competitors in the men's 5000m. Danielle Williams won an impressive victory in the women's 100m hurdles. Noah Lyles bested his arch rivals Erriyon Knighton and Zharnel Hughes in the men's 200m. Mutaz Barshim took victory in the men's high jump. World champion Mondo Duplantis took victory in the men's pole vault. World Champion Miltiadis Tentoglou too victory in the men's long jump. Budapest bronze medalist Jacob Vadlejch defeated world champion Neeraj Chopra in the men's javelin throw. The Netherlands eaked out an exciting vicotry over Switzerland in the women's 4x100m relay.
