Karsten Warholm (born 28 February 1996) is a Norwegian athlete who competes in the sprints and hurdles. He has won gold in the 400 m hurdles at the 2017 and 2019 World Championships, and at the 2018 European Championships. He competed in the octathlon as a youth, winning gold at the 2013 World Youth Championships.
Warholm holds the Norwegian record in the 400 m and the European record in the 400 m hurdles with times of 44.87 seconds and 46.87 seconds, respectively. Warholm's time of 46.87 seconds for the 400 m hurdles is the second fastest time in history, bettered only by Kevin Young's 1992 world record.
