Here I (Tanis Leonhardi; she/her/hers; of Seattle) talk through the Karsten Warholm (of Norway), 400 metres hurdles race at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France (time of 47.06 seconds in the final on Friday 9 August 2024). With his time he achieved 2nd place. I provide my take/perspective on his performance and contextualize it in terms of shorter and faster stride cadence.

I watched the race on the West Coast branch of the television channel Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) in the Seattle area (CBUT).
