The cheering fans at Gateshead International Stadium were presented with the Hair-Raising Excitement of the Women’s 400 m Hurdles.

The event featured eight athletes; five of them were Tokyo-Bound:
Meghan Beesley (Great Britain) and her compatriot Jessie Knight, Femke Bol (Netherlads), Léa Sprunger (Switzerland), Janieve Russell (Jamaica), Femke Bol (Netherlands).

Former Texas A&M Aggie Shamier Little (USA), Ranked Number 4.
